Parenting Classes

The Relatives is excited to announce the reboot of its “Parenting Challenging Youth” course! The curriculum is designed based on the Love & Logic parenting model and will be offered twice a month. 

Classes are free and held in person at our Ally Activity Center located at 2221 Freedom Drive (behind the On Ramp Resource Center).

The Love and Logic model is a 30-year-old philosophy of raising and teaching children that allows adults to be happier, empowered, and more skilled in their interactions with children. Love allows children to grow through their mistakes. Logic allows children to live with the consequences of their choices. Love and Logic is a way of working with children that puts parents and teachers back in control, teaches children to be responsible, and prepares young people to live in the real world, with its many choices and consequences.

Classes are for parents with children of any age, and the techniques are simple and easy to learn.
