Non-Cash Giving at The Relatives

Non-cash gifts are an impactful, tax-effective way to support young people experiencing crisis.

Firms facilitating non-cash giving do not always share donor information with the recipient charity. If you are planning to make a non-cash gift to The Relatives, then please click on your preferred giving option below to tell us more about your gift and allow us to thank you properly for your generosity.

Be a Relative through your Donor Advised Fund (DAF)

A donor-advised fund (DAF) serves as a charitable investment account, allowing you to easily support your favorite nonprofit organizations, like The Relatives, while receiving an immediate tax benefit.

You can recommend one-time or recurring donations to charitable organizations such as The Relatives through your DAF.

If you have supported The Relatives through your DAF, then we would like to thank you for your generosity. Please click here to tell us more about your support of The Relatives.

Be a Relative through Stock Donation

A donation of stock allows you to generously support The Relatives in a tax-efficient way.

To donate stock, simply tell your broker how many shares you would like to donate and give them the information below:

Alexander Youth Network

Be a Relative through a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD)

A qualified charitable distribution (QCD) allows individuals aged 70½ years old or older to donate up to $105,000 total to one or more charities, such as The Relatives, directly from a taxable IRA instead of taking their required minimum distributions.

For specific information, we suggest you talk with your financial and tax advisers.

If you have supported The Relatives through a QCD, then we would like to thank you for your generosity. Please click here to tell us more about your support of The Relatives.

Be a Relative through Employee Giving

Many companies make it easy for employees to support the nonprofit organizations they’re most passionate about, such as The Relatives:

  • Payroll donations are deducted from the employee’s paycheck as either a one-time or recurring gift
  • Please contact your employer regarding supporting The Relatives through payroll deduction
  • You can double your impact through matching gift funds

Be a Relative through a Planned Gift

Making a legacy gift through your estate is one of the most effective ways to ensure that we can carry on our shared vision of being a Relative to the vulnerable youth and young adults in our community, by enabling them to achieve independence through comprehensive services tailored to their individualized needs, in a space where they feel loved, supported, and accepted as their authentic selves.
