Be A Relatives Connector

A Connector is a highly valued, short term volunteer role who adds branches to our family tree by introducing their friends, neighbors, and colleagues to The Relatives work through a private tour. You supply your “why” and your network, Relatives staff will do the rest.

You’ll hear inspiring stories from Relatives staff members, learn more about our work, and engagement opportunities. Guests will not be asked to make a financial commitment of any kind.

What does a Connector do?

A Connector helps the almost 35,000 young people experiencing crisis in our community by introducing the people in their life to The Relatives work. The more community members who know about The Relatives, the more youths can be helped. An ideal tour has 3-5 members of your networks, although more can easily be accommodated.

  • Who in your neighborhood are you especially close to?
  • Do you belong to a book or supper club?
  • Are you part of a bible study or church fellowship group?
  • Are you part of a run club or workout class?
  • Who in your office would be interested in The Relatives work?
