1974 Society
Making a legacy gift through your estate is one of the most effective ways to ensure that we can carry on our shared vision of being a Relative to the vulnerable youth and young adults in our community, by enabling them to achieve independence through comprehensive services tailored to their individualized needs, in a space where they feel loved, supported, and accepted as their authentic selves.
Legacy gifts, such as a bequest, life insurance, annuities, plan, property, or beneficiary designation, provide a way to support The Relatives in the future while maintaining control over your estate and assets. For specific information, we suggest you talk to your financial and tax advisers.
Planned giving can help you:
- Reduce your income taxes
- Avoid capital-gain tax
- Increase your spendable income
For more information on making a planned gift or becoming a member of our 1974 Society, please contact Caitlin E. Donley, CFRE, Director of Development, at 704-501-8253 or cdonley@therelatives.org
It is our honor to say thank you and recognize you for your generosity by including you as a member of our 1974 Society. Members are recognized publicly in our annual report and on our website (unless they prefer to remain anonymous) as well as receive invitations to events for 1974 Society Members.
