Jayshawn's Marry Me Chicken
STEP 1
Arrange a rack in center of oven; preheat to 375°. In a large ovenproof skillet over medium-high heat, heat 1 Tbsp. oil. Generously season chicken with salt and black pepper and cook, turning halfway through, until golden brown, about 5 minutes per side. Transfer chicken to a plate.
STEP 2
In same skillet over medium heat, heat remaining 2 Tbsp. oil. Stir in garlic, thyme, and red pepper flakes. Cook, stirring, until fragrant, about 1 minute. Stir in broth, tomatoes, cream, and parmesan; season with salt. Bring to a simmer, then return chicken and any juices to skillet.
STEP 3
Transfer skillet to oven. Bake chicken until cooked through to internal temp of 165°, 10 to 12 minutes.
STEP 4
Arrange chicken on a platter. Spoon sauce over.
OPTIONAL: Top with basil.
Samuel's Banana Pudding
STEP 1
Place milk and pudding mix in a large bowl; beat with a whisk for 2 minutes. Whisk in condensed milk until smooth.
STEP 2
Whip heavy whipping cream with 2 Tbsp of sugar until medium peaks form. Set aside.
STEP 3
Stir in vanilla, then fold in whipped cream.
STEP 4
Arrange a layer of wafers in the bottom of a glass serving bowl. Top with a layer of banana slices, then a layer of pudding mixture; repeat layers until all ingredients are used.
STEP 5
For best results, chill pudding in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour before serving. Top with extra crushed wafers just before serving.
